John Pegram, better known as Boss Pee, was born and raised in Virginia. He lived with his mother, father, three sisters, and two brothers.

He attended school in Dinwiddle County, Virginia and graduated from the Henrico County Public School's Adult Learning Center External Diploma Program. Afterward, he enrolled in music courses at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia.

Since age sixteen, Boss Pee has played music spanning blues, jazz, R&B, and gospel. He has played in concert at various night clubs as well as churches and at age thirty, he began writing and producing his own music. Ten years later, he was recording his music from his own studio.

This CD, "It's All About Jesus," is one of many. Boss Pee hopes to earn respect and support as a gospel artist who writes, records, produces, and performs his musical craft.
